As a school in the heart of rural community, Mountnorris Primary plays at vital role in its locality. Links with surrounding schools, local businesses and the local churches are exceptionally important as a means of keeping all stakeholders involved in the life of the school and the area. Local schools provide excellent backdrops for cluster meetings for staff and play a vital role in the transition period from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3.
Further to this, a link with Mountnorris Presbyterian in the village allows for opportunities to develop school plays and relationships between different age groups.

In February, Mr Frizzell took Primary 6 and 7 to the ‘Evergreen’ club in the church. During this time the children presented a short assembly to the group and then planted daffodil bulbs with the members. This was a very beneficial time for all. Here are some photos of our time...
