The Eco-school Action Team and School Council met today to finalise our Spend A Penny Week money. We had raised £85 and so with a little bit of help from our school funds we were able to twin 2 toilets. The children decided to twin a toilet in Nepal and one in Pakistan. It's lovely to think that somewhere in these countries there will be a plaque showing that the children of Mountnorris Primary School purchased a safe, clean, sanitary area for people to use. Well done to the Mountnorris Primary School Community for reaching out to others! (If you didn't support our efforts and would still like to- just place a donation in an envelope marked toilet twinning and send to the office- maybe we could twin in another country!!!)
